We're happy to announce that the 2015 Tsinghua Mathcamp Colloquiums will be delivered by three of our most distinguished colleagues from Harvard, Univ. of Michigan at Ann Arbor, and from the Academy of Mathematics and System Science and the Chinese Academy of Sciences:

  • Lecture II by Lizhen Ji (季理真), Professor of Mathematics at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.

    Title: Good mathematics through the eyes of some famous people
    Abstract: Everyone wants to learn and do good mathematics. But what is good mathematics? Let us take a look at what some famous mathematicians have said about good mathematics and good mathematicians, and then compare their opinions and criteria with the work of a really great mathematician, and see what conclusions we can draw.
